There truly arent enough words to explain how overjoyed we are with the results and with Rob himself. An absolute gem, the loveliest man with a wealth of knowledge about his craft and very obvious passion for his work. Professional yet personable, no question too stupid or silly and he was a genuine pleasure to talk to. Our floor was in a very sorry state before he arrived after years of being covered and now its back to its former glory and absolutely stunning thanks to Rob. 100% will recommend every single time! This week we had our old York stone kitchen floor milled, cleaned and sealed and we are absolutely over the moon with the results! It looks amazing 🤩 Rob is so lovely and calm, nothing is a problem, he worked tirelessly on our grotty old floor and with his experience, knowledge and professionalism we had every faith that he would make our floor look it’s absolute best. Our 200 year old york stone floor was filthy dirty and patched in with concrete mortar. Rob's conservation work included a full clean, removal of old grouting and replacement with a traditional lime mortar mix. Finally, a coat with breathable sealant allows us to keep the floor dirt free while still allowing the stone to breath as it naturally should.
